Quick Bite before Obedience Class

Tonight was obedience class night for Nacho so we usually don't have much time to eat. We take her to Mother Knows Best and Dorothy, the lady that runs the class, is the best dog trainer in the city. We have taken Nacho to other classes and we feel that her instructions are so much more clear and concise compared to the other doggie school. She sat down with us today and taught us how to deal with fear in a dog. She said to treat it like "Party Time" when the dog is scared and to give her treats and not to force or avoid the object of fear. We will definitely be practicing party time!

On to the meal tonight. Since we had left over salad and tart from the night before, we opted for something quick. Nick was assigned to dinner duties and I found the recipe the best suited whatever that was left in our fridge and we came up with the Cilantro-Lime Crab Salad in Avocado Halves. It was more watery than expected since Nick forgot to drain the crab meat. We will remember that one for next time! Red onion was also substituted for green onion because that's all that was kicking around.
