Zucchini and Meatballs

Tonight's menu consisted of:
Zucchini in Padella from Jamie's Italy
Meatballs from Fresh and Wild and Tomato Sauce with Basil from the Silver Spoon
Garlic Loaf from Manoucher

The anchovies in the zucchini dish really came through making this an easy recipe that had great taste. As for the tomato sauce, we are usually pretty bad with it and just use pre-made sauce. But this time, I decided to try making my own using the Silver Spoon's recipe while adding some basil. The results were quick and fantastic which made us wonder why we never did it before. To go with all this, we needed some carbs and defaulted to Manoucher's garlic loaf which I picked up from Fresh and Wild. I have to say the loaf we got last time was definitely more fresh. This loaf already felt hard and a bit old. Next time, I have to remember to give it a pinch at the store first before picking it up. Nontheless, it was still tasty and we managed to eat more than half of it.
