I'm 2 days behind my blog post. So I better catch up. It might sound a little crazy having hot pot in July but we did it! 12 people. 2 hot pots, 1 szechuan chili soup base and 1 chicken stock soup base. We managed to eat 3 cans of spam (big hit), red sausage, tofu, cuttlefish balls, korean beef, 6 mini lobsters, watercress, chives, noodles, lettuce, Jim Chai Kee Noodles' shrimp dumplings, salmon, wintermelon, enoki, king mushrooms, taro noodle. We even broke out the plastic table cloth paired with the XO. Classy HK! But nothing gets conversation going like a DIY hot pot. YUM!
