For Patrick's birthday, we decided to do a repeat of 2 years ago at Sushi Kaji. Last time we were there, we sat at the sushi bar and my sister fed Chef Kaji tons of Sake. I took pictures then too but at that time, I just got my DSLR and was taking my digital photography class at Ryerson. I didn't know what I was really doing before so this time, I hoped to capture better pictures (with whatever skills I have gained since). Anyhow, the meal was awesome from start to finish. The first bottle of sake, my sister bought from J-town and the second we ordered from the restaurant. Everything was just bursting with flavour and the sake really enhanced the experience. I can't even think what was the best part of the meal because everything was super yummy. As for the pictures, I decided to post every course we had to capture the experience. So amazing. So yummy. Whoever said Toronto doesn't have good sushi has never been to Kaji.
Last but not least, thanks Patrick for treating us to such an amazing meal!!! :D

Howcome I've never been taken to Kaji before. Food looks presentable, but sushi rice looks a bit loose wor
ReplyDeleteHmm...because it is far from Richmond Hill? The sushi rice is only loose for the ones on the spoon but that's ok because you don't need to use your chopsticks for those.
ReplyDeleteWow these pics are making me hungry and thirsty.....great pictures throughout, I can image how your future pics will shine even more with the D800 :-)...thanks for sharing..link was sent to me by Pauly.....Henry.
ReplyDeleteThanks Henry! Hopefully you like my new set of Kaji picks too. Although much of the subject is the same, I try to create different compositions. ^__^
