Nonna's Tasting Menu at Enoteca Sociale

Somehow we never managed to try Pizzeria Libretto but we found ourselves at their sister restaurant Enoteca Sociale which open recently on Dundas Street West. 5 of us decided on Nonna's Tasting Menu which included 6 courses of yummy home style Italian cooking. The use of fresh seasonal ingredients really shined through. The peas in antipasto were crunchy and sweet while the garlic scapes just felt right on this warm summer evening when paired with the lamb parmagiana. Things ended on the right note with the Sweetened ricotta, almond biscuit, and raspberries. I think I wanted seconds! Greedy!

Enoteca Sociale has done a great job in bringing Toronto more casual Italian dining experiences. Terroni's, you better watch out!
