Ontario Artisan Share Program

Just got the email from Ontario Artisan Share Program. And this is what we are getting.

On The Menu This Week

Fresh Peanuts! (Kernall Peanuts)

Red Sheppard Sweet Pepper (Top Tomato Farm)
Red Potatoes (The New Farm)--These sweet beauties are red all the way through--you can wow your kids with pink mashed potatoes!
Zucchini (Sovereign Farm)
Garlic (August's Harvest)

Meat
Ground Pork from Black Bow Farms. Check out the recipe below to make your own breakfast sausage!

Cheese
Whey Butter from Stirling! Instead of bringing you an actual "cheese" this week, we are thrilled to let you sample Whey Butter! Whey butter is is butter made from whey (which separates from cheese curds during the process of making cheese). It is stronger tasting and less shiny than regular butter, with a deeper, more yellow colour. I love this butter--let me know how you like it!

Pantry Staple
Extra-Virgin, Cold-Pressed Canola Oil from Pristine Gourmet. We gave you their Soya Oil earlier in the season--now you can taste this special Canola Oil!
